Reminded how much I love to read and other random thoughts...

I received wonderful birthday gifts this year and have fallen in love with reading again. From my wonderful friend Jessica and my daughter Emily, I received books. From Heather stemless wine glasses and from my husband, wine. This is the perfect combination, along with my jacuzzi bathtub, for a wonderful night! Jessica bought me a book by Jen Lancaster, I have fallen in love with her writing and can't wait to dig in to the rest of her books. I have ordered them from Amazon.com and should get them Friday. It's like Christmas in September!
Speaking of September...it's time for the annual trip to Nevada. I'm looking forward to seeing old friends and catching up, and spending the week with some great friends from OKC. I can't wait to hear some good music. It's so exciting each year to cheer on the contestants new and old!

It seemed like the right time.

I've been toying with the idea for a while now, trying to decide whether or not to join the world of blogging. I guess you could say due to changes in my attitude about keeping track of my thoughts and feelings I've decided to blog. I have enjoyed reading many of my friends blogs and have been no less than a stalker to some degree. I will make this a place for my thoughts, good, bad or just there. So, to those of you who choose to read/comment, thanks!
